Don Bosco Degree College is a self-financed college affiliated to Bundelkhand University and run by the society of Don Bosco fathers who are renowned for education of young people in the world. The society runs hundreds of educational institutions in India and in the world which include universities, colleges, schools, formal and non formal industrial schools apart from health centres, social and rural development centres, cultural or communication centres and publishing or printing houses as part of its educative mission to the young.

Just like these educational institutions world over, DBDC aims to form honest and upright citizens who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically healthy and socially acceptable persons who will stand for truth, peace and justice. The method of education followed in DBDC is Preventive System as taught and practiced by Don Bosco from whom the name of the college is derived.
